After the breakdown and sheer exhaustion of Tuesday, it was very timely that I had set up a port tasting night with Erin (my sister in-law) and a couple of her friends on Wednesday night.
Alecia’s meltdown about having to go back to work after having a baby.
Belén learning to use her hands while I was at the Indigo Girls concert.
Discussing different parenting styles with our friends Scott and Laura.
The baby’s head is much smaller than my husbands. Maternity leaves in socialist countries rock!
Using a hands free band for pumping, traveling to Sun Valley for the Backcountry Run and much much more!
Getting up at 4am after very little sleep to ride up Bogus, in an effort to get back into shape, post baby.
No matter how much you prepare for it, parenting will blow your mind.
I wrote a lot about the fussiness of Miss Belén between six weeks and two months of age so I must report that our little girl has been an absolute joy of late. I don’t know if we just got through the hard stage or what, but nowadays when she cries, you can pretty much figure out why pretty quickly. Generally she is either hungry, pooping or tired.
The 2009 Tour de France if finally here, and Lance is back!
