We noticed a strange bump inside Belén’s mouth this past weekend.  If it had been in the front of her mouth, we would have just thought she was teething, but it was further back like where a molar should be.  We decided to take her into the doctor to find out what it was.  It turns out that it is some sort of deposit that will eventually go away.  Apparently it is not entirely uncommon.

While she was at the doctor, a second dose of both the normal flu and H1N1 vaccine were administered.  The doctor also pointed out that she is teething (we had figured that out) and predicted she would have her bottom teeth poking through within the week.

You would think with two flu shots and teething, it would be the perfect storm in terms of her mood.  Here is a video of her from last night.

Tonight, she actually seemed a little more off, but still a pretty happy girl.  We are very fortunate with her demeanor!  We are willing to have more bad days at seven months if we could trade them for good days when she is 17!

What a little trooper. So glad that she is doing okay since the shots and you can imagine how tender her little gums must be. Give her some snuggles from Nana ;-)
