Today, when we weren’t napping or watching Mad Men, we were being domestic.  Belén helped me clean out all of the cupboards and reorganize them so all of the most used items were easiest to access.

Our wireless network in the basement was acting slow, so Andy spent his time hooking up the network LAN in the basement.  Now my screaming fast new HP laptop has a screaming fast network to complement (and the number of four letter frustrations coming from my mouth has been significantly reduced.)

I shocked Andy by making dinner tonight.  Since we have been watching Mad Men, he keeps trying to say things like “When you go to the store, you can get X.” or “Why don’t you go upstairs and get me a drink.” and “What are we having for dinner?” mostly just to see my reaction.  I was so inspired by the organized kitchen that I whipped up a dinner out of items in the freezer and some bell peppers that were close to going bad.  It was by no means because of his 1960s era suggestions.

I also had my first go at Photoshop Elements.  What do you think of the doctored photo above?  I will be playing with the photo with the most votes from this post, later this week.  Finally, I figured out a way to show higher resolution, larger photos for select photos.  Try clicking on the photo above to see a larger version.

I would love to know what you think.

I will work on both photos. I need to go buy a book because the book Andy has is for Photoshop and I have Photoshop Elements. This is going to be fun!

We just started watching Mad Men as we are left out of more recent conversations with friends since we don’t watch it. Matt will also occasionally say “why don’t you go make me a sandwich” and I will tell him to starve :) .

The photo looks great. Color looks pretty balanced out as opposed to a lot of photos that tend to look a little more yellow/red when taken inside with a flash. When I take indoor photos with a flash I like to balance the color out like you have with this one.

PS. Higher resolution is great. I wanted to see the Christmas photo that I loved from the last post in higher resolution (the one with Belen by the table in BW) but it was too small.
