Today the Idaho Vandals (our alma mater) plays in the Roady’s Humanitarian Bowl. I know, what a horrible name for a sponsor, right? What is Roady’s you might ask? I had to look it up, but apparently it is a truck stop chain.  Wow, even truck stops have websites these days.

The amazing part of this game is that it is a bowl game and Idaho is in it.  The football team last year was almost literally LAST PLACE with a 2-10 record.  In fact, this is the first winning season in the past DECADE!  We like to focus on academics.

So…we are proud of the progress that has been made this year by the football team.  We are on a comeback and will soon beat BSU!  It may have happened this year had the starting quarterback for Idaho beep playing.  Sorry, I had to throw that out there.  Maybe that will get some comments.

In a few minutes the game starts.  We were supposed to be there in person but as of yesterday afternoon, Andy still felt like a Mack truck had run over his skull (sticking with the truck stop theme) so we gave our tickets away.  Now, we get to watch the game with our little Vandal fan.  Or maybe we will go to the mall and watch the last half of the game at home.  I am such a horrible football fan these days.

She is a pretty happy walker but does not like when we take our fingers away for the the turns and she is REALLY not happy when she sits down.

Luckily she has had a nap since the video was taken.  Now she is a consistently happy camper at least until closer to her next nap.

Who needs expensive toys when she gets more entertainment out of the plastic tubs they are “organized” in?
