War and Peace Reading Plan

Okay readers, here is the plan for War and Peace in 2010.  Luckily the book has parts so if your version of has different page numbers than mine, we should still be able to stay in synch.  I even found that parts of it are online at books.google.com.  This is the version of the book that I have.  If you click on the picture of the book below you can purchase from amazon  for $9.95 new and around $5 used.

And here is the reading agenda:

January – Part One, thru page 117

February – Part Two, thru page 220

March – Part Three, thru page 328

April – Parts Four and Five, thru page 469

May – Part Six, thru page 552

June – Parts Seven and Eight, thru page 686

July – Part Nine, thru page 777

August – Part Ten, thru page 936

September – Part Eleven, thru page 1062

October – Part Twelve, thru page 1122

November – Parts Thirteen and Fourteen, thru page 1223

December – Part Fifteen and Epilogue (the rest of the book)

Once I finish the January reading assignment, I will post a blog entry with my comments and questions on the reading and then look forward to interacting with the other readers through the comments section.

I read through some of the comments on the book on books.google and there are some really rave reviews which made me excited to get reading.  Many people said it was the best book they have ever read.

I apologize for not getting the January assignment out sooner.  Life and especially work has been all consuming and taken over all of my “extra” time lately.

Happy Reading!
