Having watched Goonies and visited the baby’s doctor both in the same week helped me to draw a correlation between the two.

Every time I go to the doctor for the baby, I feel the need to tell the doctor every possible unrelated incident that may contribute to the case at hand.

“At the hot springs, her eye swelled up because what we believe is cold urticaria, which my husband has as well, but do you think there might be something else wrong with her eye?”

“And she seemed to take really long naps while we were in McCall.  We thought it was just the elevation, but maybe she was fighting a bug at that time.”

“And our friend’s kid got sick on Saturday night and we didn’t think she was exposed to him, but maybe so.”

“Oh and her eye has had so many eye boogers lately…mostly goey yellow-colored boogers but they do dry up and she gets really pissed when I try and pick them off.”

“Her nose has been runny for a week or so…we thought it was just the dry air or a small cold so we didn’t think it would be a big deal to take her out of town.  I mean seriously, the girl has had boogers from day one, but these were a bit more green-colored than normal….maybe we should have known.”

Remind you of anything?  I love this scene in Goonies.
