This morning we went to Nana and Grandpa’s house for Easter brunch. Of course Nana had prepared many special Easter surprises for Belén and the rest of the family.

Belén wore the dress my mom made for me for Easter 31 years ago.

Her smile alone kept us all entertained.

But little did we know that Little B had a surprise in store for us as well. With the support and encouragement of Auntie Anna (and the rest of us watching), Belén took her first steps right before our eyes.

We stopped by Grammy and Grandpa’s house afterwards and Belén continued working on her new walking skills. She increased the distance she was able to walk and is now starting to act quite proud of herself.
Good thing the Easter Bunny came when he did because in a few more days, she could have chased him down.
