Let’s be honest, besides the baby herself, it doesn’t get much more cute and fun than baby clothes (except maybe baby SHOES!) Belén is already growing out of some of her 1-year sized clothing so I took advantage of Children’s Place and Gap sales two weeks ago and bought a box full of cute-to-the-point-of-squealing clothes for our budding fashionisita. Check out these shorts and this dress from The Children’s Place.
Are you squealing yet? Those petticoats should have done the trick? SO. DANG. CUTE.
Remember how I said I have 15 minutes back at my lunch hour since I am no longer pumping? Well, I figured out today I could use ten of them to run to the Target near work and buy an umbrella stroller. I had to walk through the baby clothes section to get to the strollers and what a surprise I had when I found a sale. Many of the items on sale would be perfect for our trip to Mexico next month, so I did a bit of power shopping before my noon teleconference.
I showed Belén her new clothes tonight.

Thus far, Andy has done the bulk of the baby clothes shopping since he primarily does our other grocery shopping and picks up outfits while he is out in about, so these past two weeks (really just about 20 minutes on two different days) was mama’s turn to have some fun.
Are baby boy clothes this fun? It just doesn’t seem like they could be, but maybe I am wrong.
Next up, makeup!
Okay, maybe we have awhile for that…at age 22, after her first date.

Those clothes are adorable! And, yes, I think baby boy clothes are just as much fun!! Overalls! Dress shirts! Robot jammies! I know I go crazy and Ryan gets irritated. The kid has a full closet!
It’s funny that you wrote this because since my sister’s due date is coming up my mom has been baby girl shopping A LOT. She photo texted me a photo of baby crocs that she bought her. Anyway, I agree, girl clothes are much cuter.
