I just realized today that I have three more posts I need to do from our trip to Puerto Vallarta in early May.  They are very exciting so stay tuned.

I didn’t go as crazy as I used to go shopping in México but I did manage to get some pretty cool souvenirs.  Here are a few of my favorites.

These flowers are actually made out of corn husks…how is that for “green”?

It has been about seven years since I did any serious silver shopping and they have managed to come out with a few designs in silver jewlery that I couldn’t resist including this ring.

And last but not least…check out Belén’s new purse.  She loves to take off her shoe and put it inside and then remove it and drop the shoe on the ground.  She finds this sequence of events riveting.

I did find that I struggled a bit with some of the jewelry and clothes because it seemed like everything was either too “young”-looking or too “old”-looking.  It seems like I have reached some kind of adult “tween” stage at least when it comes to buying apparel in México.  I have a necklace that I need to run by you all and see if you think it is too “old lady-looking” for me.  Yet another “stay tuned” post.
How many “quotes” can I use in one post?

What great finds! I wish you could have packed another dozen flowers in your suitcase as they are really pretty. Your ring is lovely and I love Little Miss Belén’s purse and her practical application of storing shoes for it. I also so appreciate the lovely necklace you brought back for me – thank you again! ;-)
