Chili Face

Belén loves this chili recipe.  I have now made two batches which I freeze part of and use for endless amounts of future protein-possessing lunches.

Tonight was the first night I let her feed the chili to herself.  Usually I spoon-feed her.

Is this success?  I am still trying to be sure.

Alecia, I have been storing up comments but need to take a minute here to say that I think Belén thinks your chili is the best. I have many a picture like that but they were usually “post spaghetti dinner”. I think Nick was my best eater and really got into his food and was covered. I used to say it was a good thing kids are easy to bathe because that was the only method to getting them clean again. I love her teeth and her longer hair, she is changing so much. The girls and I are off to Minneapolis for a wedding and I will look forward to our return and getting caught up on your blogs. Thanks for sharing on them. Margy

Yes, I do believe it is success – you can see it on her face! And I do believe I have some similar pics of her Momma around the same age! ;-)
