Andy and I feel very fortunate to both have incredible fathers. Without the strong, compassionate, intelligent, involved fathers we have had in our lives, there is no doubt we would not be the same people we are today.
On top of it all, our father’s get along, they are even friends. In fact, our parents went to dinner last night together and we had nothing to do with it. I know, right? Not common.
Both of our parents live in Boise.
Both of our fathers like to cycle.
They both have a great sense of humor.
They both like coffee.
They both like to spend time with their kids.
They both adore their only granddaughter.
Seriously, how much more lucky could we possibly be?

This picture says it all. Anna, Erin and I started off Father’s Day today with a ride up Bogus Basin Road with our dads, followed by a stop at the coffee shop. Andy, spent the morning with Belén.
Marvin, Ray, THANK YOU for the fathers you are! And to the rest of you involved, compassionate, strong dads out there, YOU ROCK TOO!
Happy Fathers Day!
