Why I love Boise in the summer: New friends at every event Daddy pulling the Burley to activities all around town The fountain in downtown Boise (this photo taken at Alive After 5 during the week of Jaialdi, a Basque celebration in Boise)
Was I too horrible or do you agree this was a good opportunity to teach a very important concept involving safety? Was it okay to allow her to hurt herself in this contained environment for the sake of learning? Obviously I felt like it was a perfect situation (assuming she learned the lesson) but I understand others might not agree with that.

The last twelve weeks at Hewlett-Packard have been the first corporate fitness campaign I have been a part of at the company. Basically what it entailed was interested employees signing up on teams at which time a pedometer along with a booklet to track progress were sent to each individual.
There has been a lot going on for me personally this week. Work is very high pressure and demanding a lot of extra time and emotional energy at the moment. This is with my “old” job which I will soon be transitioning out of but first need to get my team through some very important deliverables.

Belén is Miss Independent. We cannot figure out where she gets it.

As always, very fun race! My only feedback to the race organizers is to ban headphones (at least in both ears) and perhaps start the 16-mile race an hour earlier so it is not so hot for those going the distance and so the raffles can start earlier. As my mom would say, “I need to write them a letter.”
