One final post on our trip to Bend/Sun River, Oregon a week ago.

The house we stayed at in Sun River last weekend was what you might call a little bit strange…and dated.  It is probably the tallest house in a 50-mile radius.

We kept finding levels of the house.  In fact, those windows on the top can only accessed by going through a trap-door in the closet of the “top floor” of the house.

I am pretty sure the house was designed around this three-story macrame.

It’s funny staying in a cabin owned by others.  There were pictures of the family who presumably own the cabin all throughout the house.  We felt like we were watching the three girls grow up and found ourselves wondering what they are doing today.  Do they have kids of their own?  Do they ever visit the cabin?  Where do they live now?

Anyway, despite being decorated in foil wallpaper stolen from 1974 (and matching my family home before my parents remodeled it), complete with bright yellow sink and counters, it was a comfortable place to stay.

A place to steal kisses.
