If you have not heard NPR’s Story Corps yet you are missing out.  Basically NPR traveled throughout the country stopping in cities and towns everywhere inviting people to come in and record their stories in their mobile recording studio.  I really wish they would have done it a year or so earlier because I would have loved to have my grandparents participate and tell their wonderful stories of their youth when they were first married, but by the time the Story Corps Mobile made it to Boise, my grandparents were failing too much.

EVERY SINGLE STORY I have heard on Story Corps is interesting and often touching. I heard this one when driving to work Friday morning about this mother and daughter.

From npr, StoryCorps,  Theresa Nguyen and her daughter, Stephanie, in Morrow, Ga. If this does not load on your browser, click here to listen.

Even on second and third listens, I am crying.
