All of these photos were taken inside the arboretum on the road to Hana. Since we went in the afternoon, we had it all to ourselves (except for the mosquitoes that feasted on me). The flowers, bamboo, trees, bananas, ferns, palms were all incredible and it felt like we were walking through one of nature’s sacred places.

I will start with the end of our trip and work backwards. The last day in Maui, we had a ton of time to kill since we had to be checked out of the hotel at 10am and our flight did not leave until 9pm. We spent the day driving around, doing a bit of shopping and eating and then we visited the Maui aquarium.
Now I just need to work on my ninja skills…
