Sun Valley Living Up To It’s Name

After a horrible night of sleep, Sunday quickly redeemed itself with incredibly beautiful sunny weather lighting up a winter wonderland created the day before by many layers of snow blankets.  Before grabbing lunch and heading back to Boise, we decided to drive up to the Sun Valley ski resort with the girls and ride the gondola to the top of the mountain to take pictures.

Once we arrived and realized the gondola tickets were $20 for each adult (kids free).  We almost backed out but the day was so beautiful we paid the money and resumed our planned excursion.

And even though the family photo is not perfect (it seems impossible to get one where Belén is cooperating these days), almost every other photo was.

This picture is my favorite!

Two out of three smiling isn’t so bad…

Ah yes, this is why we live in Idaho!

What do you think, was the $40 per family was worth it?

Wow! Take my breath away beautiful!! What a view! I love the mountains! So beautiful and peaceful!!! Belen is so cute and precious!! I wish we lived close to mountains!

Thanks for the words of encouragement today! It really meant a lot, you have no idea. I also have to get the Rh negative shot, and I am being tested for a genetic blood clotting disorder….plus the weight talk, no wonder I am near tears!

Oh my gosh that video is so funny of her giggling.

That was definitely worth the $20 per person. Belen’s giggling and saying “Sun Valley” was all worth it. She seem to really enjoy it. What an awesome landscape. I do miss seeing this type of scenery.

Holy crap! I may have to look into jobs in Idaho a little more seriously. I always see Boise in the summer when it’s brown, or in December when it’s brown. So I’ve never really seen it when it’s snowy or pretty.

We definitely have our brown seasons but when it is green or white, it is gorgeous.

you captured beautiful shots of the ski slopes. (looks kinda scary, it’s steep, but then again, I’m not a skier ), and you make such a cute family.
