My dear friend Sage brought her two kids over last week to play with Belén and Eloise. Since Sage works weekends and I work week days starting Monday, this was our last opportunity for a mid-week play date for the foreseeable future which bums me out to no end. But alas, we enjoyed our time together and the kids all had a blast.
I love this picture as it captures the innocence of the children as well as the chaos of four kids together in one room…the bouncy dog, the Curious George jack-in-the-box, a shopping cart, a baby stroller and the favorite “toy” of both Belén and Crew, the flashlight, all entertained with children.
Sage and my attempt at adult conversation was fragmented leaving us to conclude we never aspire to have four children under five. I guess in that situation you just have to embrace the chaos.
I’m not going to lie, I am going to miss trading these days for emails and meetings.

Love this picture and all of the darling people in it!
Great picture, looks like you had a good play date! Such cutie pies, all of them!! If you need some moral support on your first week back, OC me, I’d be glad to grab some coffee with you or take a walk.
