We have two little girls who have definite opinions about things, one who can clearly articulate those opinions and another who is pretty darn good at getting her point across even without a robust vocabulary.
Our articulate three-year-old finished her first round of swimming lessons and still wasn’t fond of getting her face wet and going under water. Andy decided to try a new approach for the second round of lessons and took her to buy a swim cap and goggles. When I arrived home from work she was wearing both of them, even though swimming lessons didn’t start for another hour. She continued to wear them while she ate dinner.
After lessons she still didn’t want to take off her new swimming accessories. We insisted she remove her wet swimsuit and get ready for a bath. She protested she was hungry (she never eats enough at dinner to leave her full after swim lessons) which leads us to this scene, Belén eating a snack at the table while wearing her Nemo swim cap and pink goggles, complete naked.
Sorry kid, this picture is going to come out when your bring your first boyfriend home.
