For the past year or so, a pair of morning doves have been living in our front yard. On a day like today when a useless tragedy strikes another one of our nation’s schools, these doves serve as a symbol of hope. We must band together to prevent future acts of senseless violence. None of us want to live in fear of sending our kids to school.
What are we going to do America to fix this? We need hope! We need the peace these doves represent.
