Learning to Ride a Bike

The Hoobing family is serious about riding bikes.  Andy and his sisters never had training wheels and learned to ride a bike with either their mom or dad running down the road keeping the bike stable until they were able to do it themselves.

Andy intends to carry on that tradition with our girls and we’ve recently begun the training process.

On the first nice Saturday of the year, you would have found all four of us outside, watching Belén try out her new bike, her second Specialized, with the help of Andy or I stabilizing the bike from behind.

Meanwhile, Eloise went up and down the sidewalk in her Plasma car.

With skiing winding down, you will find us assuming similar activities on upcoming Saturdays…each time with B going further without Mommy or Daddy supporting the bike.
